Court of Maryland Plaintiff requests Judge Robert Steinberg give legal basis and findings for reversing another judge's ruling 7 months after legal time periodMarch 25, 2011 Honorable Robert Steinberg Re: Laurent J. La Brie v. TD Ameritrade Dear Judge Steinberg Plaintiff has found it difficult to obtain from the Court the judgment on the Hearing of March 11, 2011 and the reasons for said judgment. On March 17, 2011, not having received the judgment, Plaintiff telephoned the Court and the Clerk said she would send the judgment but requested Plaintiff send a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) to receive the reasons for the judgment. Plaintiff did so and on March 19, 2011 Court received the SASE with a letter requesting the reasons for judgments. Having subsequently received the judgment without receiving the reasons for the judgment, Plaintiff telephoned the Court on March 24, 2011 and was told by a Clerk named Cris that the Judge hadn't recorded his reasons and that Plaintiff would have to write a letter to request the Judge enter the reasons. Therefore, Plaintiff requests that Judge record the legal basis for Judge's reversing the Court's judgment on the Motion to Continue submitted by the Plaintiff and that the Court had initially granted on January 3, 2011. Specifically, Plaintiff respectfully requests the findings of the Court and the citing of a law, rule, or legal precedent supporting the reversal of numerous Court documents that were received by both Plaintiff and Defendant, including the judgment of August 30, 2010 for which the period of time allotted by Maryland Rule 3-534 passed many times over without objection from the parties involved. Plaintiff additionally requests that the Court send said findings and reasons for judgment to the Plaintiff in the enclosed SASE. Finally, Plaintiff wishes to emphasize his willingness to be available for a status conference at the Court's convenience, either in person or by telephone, to discuss these matters further. Thank you for your consideration. Respectfully, ________________________________ cc: Donald English, Jr., Esq.
